What to expect?
3 days of intense physical training along the most dramatic coast in Europe, from home base in Ferragudo, Algarve, Portugal.

Day 1
On the first day you will row from Portimão to Salema (personal luggage on board), a solid 20-mile open ocean trip, battling waves, current and harsh/hot weather conditions. You’ll encounter dolphins and other marine wildlife, before touching down on the wild beach of Salema, an old fishermen’s village. There’s time for rest and swimming before walking 2 km up the hill to Salema Eco Camp, your stay for 2 nights.
Enjoy a good meal in the camping restaurant and a bed in a magnificent Eco Lodge.

Day 2
After breakfast we drive to windy Sagres, the most Southwestern town in Europe. Tighten your boots and start walking the most challenging segment of the Rota Vicentina, 20 kms along the dramatic Atlantic Ocean coast, back to Salema. The route goes over the cliffs and down to the beach several times so take your swim suit.
Back in Salema preparations for the return trip are taken and we enjoy a good nights sleep.

Day 3
Early morning, we walk to the beach, launch the boat through the surf and row the 20 miles back to the Clube Naval de Portimão.
