Who?
Recreative rowers with good fitness level

Where?
Meet at the Mexilhoeira da Carregação river side

Program?
Start at Mexilhoeira da Carregação with briefing, safety procedures and boat preparation.
With the upcoming tide we start our row to medieval town Silves, following the beautiful meanders of the Arade, watching the flamingos and other wildlife.

First stop: lunch or coffee, depending on the tide,  at the Clube Nautico de Silves, a genuine pirates bar.
Second stop: historic town of Silves for lunch or coffee depending of the timing again.

Silves is the oldest town of the Algarve, with the impressive Castelo dos Mouros towering over the city, and the cathedral Sé, a former mosque, severely damaged by an earthquake in 1755. Although a visitor’s favorite, the ambience here is more relaxed than the coastal towns, with a very authentic, old-world charm.
We say goodbye for now and row back to Mexilhoeira.
Debriefing and boat clean-up.

Price?
375 €, max 5 persons. Food and drinks not included.
